OAR provides a host of criminal justice services to address the needs of our community. Our overarching goal is to improve public safety by reducing recidivism. We are responding to community needs by addressing the criminal justice system using evidence based practices and procedures that have been shown through research to empirically reduce recidivism. Each program is a work in progress as we continually attempt to improve our long term outcomes. We believe that this approach is neither “tough” nor “soft” on crime but it is “smart” on crime.
