The Adult Recovery Court provides drug treatment and intensive supervision to nonviolent drug offenders and drug-related felony larceny offenders. It is designed to enhance public safety by focusing on the treatment needs of local, non-violent adults charged with felony offenses who are clinically diagnosed as dependent. The goal is to stop substance use disorder troubles from the use of illegal drugs and alcohol — and the related criminal activity that results from it.
